Literacy Website #2: ReadWriteThink
Effective
Literacy Website # 2
Classroom
resources include lesson plans, students interactive, mobile apps, calendar
activities, and printouts. There are variety of standard-based lesson plans
that were written along with step-by step instructional practices. I
like how each lesson is organized and help you know how to deliver the lesson
each day.
There
are online literacy learning available with interactive tools that will enhance
student learning. These resources include alphabet organizer, Bio
Cube, Circle Plot Diagram, Compare and Contrast Map, Crossword Puzzles, Doodle
Splash and much more. By tabbing each buttons on different sources, the lessons
are already accompany with it and it is easy to navigate.
In
addition to navigating these interesting tools and activities, I also found
that there are series of Strategy Guide that help teachers deliver their
instructional lessons well. The guides include how to develop academic
vocabulary, differentiating instruction, Teaching Literacy, Inquiry- Based
Learning, and much more. These guides contain methods and outlines and ways to
promote learning.
Overall,
this is a great website for teachers and students to explore. You will find
useful information and resources to help you enhance and extend your
learning in literacy.
