ReadWriteThink Student Interactives is a free online learning for any grade level. The site includes lesson plans, worksheet, interactive student materials, Web resources, standards for classroom teachers and much more.  Their mission is to provide educators, parents, and afterschool professionals with access to the highest quality practices in reading and language arts instructions by offering the very best in free materials. I found this website engaging for young learners especially those who are just learning to read and write. This website is easy to explore because you can just click on different labels to get you to what you want to learn or teach.

            Classroom resources include lesson plans, students interactive, mobile apps, calendar activities, and printouts. There are variety of standard-based lesson plans that were written along  with step-by step instructional practices. I like how each lesson is organized and help you know how to deliver the lesson each day.

            There are online literacy learning available with interactive tools that will enhance student learning.  These resources include alphabet organizer, Bio Cube, Circle Plot Diagram, Compare and Contrast Map, Crossword Puzzles, Doodle Splash and much more. By tabbing each buttons on different sources, the lessons are already accompany with it and it is easy to navigate.

            In addition to navigating these interesting tools and activities, I also found that there are series of Strategy Guide that help teachers deliver their instructional lessons well. The guides include how to develop academic vocabulary, differentiating instruction, Teaching Literacy, Inquiry- Based Learning, and much more. These guides contain methods and outlines and ways to promote learning.

            Overall, this is a great website for teachers and students to explore. You will find useful information and resources to help you enhance and extend  your learning in literacy.
